I obtained my BS at Appalachian State University, then decided to pursue my veterinary technician degree at Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Co. After finishing veterinary technician school in 2001, I completed internships at both Alameda East Veterinary Hospital and Littleton Large Animal Clinic. I love veterinary medicine, but have a special affinity for surgery. I like to spend my free time outdoors with my husband Chris, our two boys, Wes and Sam and our two dogs, Lucy and Larry.
